Assortment 3 - when?
Does anyone know when Assortment 3 is supposed to come out? I want my HD Aragorn and Galadriel...

Feburary is being hopeful, Series 3 of FotR came out in April last year so my guess is that series 3&4 will be released in April, but that is just a guess.

Not necessarily. FOTR's Series 1 appeared as early as August in some places, so the release dates aren't synchronized. |

I hope assortment three comes sooner than later. It seems to be one of the better lines coming out in the long run - prologue elf, helm's deep aragorn, and that twilight wraith which looks amazing.

Because the UK seemed to get the series 1+2, and treebeard etc, about a month before we seen them here in the states. Austraila and canada beat us also.

Hi, I think Series 3 should be out really soon. I live in Singapore and it was released yesterday. I got to the shops today and already the Prologue Elf is gone! Got myself a Galadriel. Twilight Ringwraith looks rather cool though - he's basically white all over with tinges of blue as well, almost iridescent.
Very few Galadriels actually so I guess the Elf figures are really short-packed. I have to find the Prologue Elf somehow!
Singapore got series 1 and 2 really late, just before Dec. 18th so I'm surprised series 3 is here already. But it must mean the rest of the world will get them around this time as well.

Galdadriel in Series 3
I forgot to add that Galadriel's cloth cloak is pretty decent. Comes with a hood that you can draw over her head. The only other thing she comes with is the silver flacon or jug (the correct term eludes me at present) that she uses at the Mirror (I still wish Toybiz could've included the Mirror). Her face doesn't really resemble Cate's as in the movie, it's very similiar to the face of the figure in the promotional picture from Toybiz.
But I'm essentially happy with the figure. Love the hood!

Hi there,
I don't have a digital camera but I'm going to a friend's place now to take a couple of pictures of Galadriel. I didn't get the Twilight Ringwraith, though. Sorry.
I'm going out again later to another shop to hunt for the Prologue Elf and if I can get it, you'll certainly get pictures of that and I'll think again about getting the Twilight Ringwraith.
Saw Frodo too this morning - nothing really new except Sting has a blue tinge to it.
Be back in a bit! With nice pictures, I hope! |
