Custom card

Here's a custom card and sticker I've made for a figure I'm selling. Actually, these pics are just 'digital mock-ups' . . . but I've already printed out the label and cardback (they look good), so I just need to cut them out and glue them onto the actual card . . .

wow! that's very nicely done. did you draw that Uruk in Photoshop? he looks just like one of the pics of the figures that Toy Biz has on the back of the card. great work!!!

Thanks! That was the look I was going for, though I don't think I really came close . . .

Actually, no. I printed the picture of the Uruk (the one I used on the sticker), then taped it onto my computer screen (for backlighting) and traced it onto another piece of paper. Then I went over it in a thicker marker and added the line shadows. Then, I scanned it, made the white background transparent, dropped it onto the cardback (which I had previously blanked out), and colored it in. I did all of this in a freeware program called 'Gimp'.

Very nicely done A-P! It's this sort of attention to detail that makes all of your work so outstanding. Whomever gets this custom should be very proud indeed.

That's great, AP! Perfectly done, you could easily fool people with this saying it's the first look at Epic Trilogy Serie 3. Actually I did fool people on our board with that KOTD you did a while ago.

Really like this....taking it to the next level with a MOC custom on a custom card.
