possible battle cry uruk-hai possible torch variant?

i stumbled upon a battle cry uruk with a red torch not too long ago and dismissed it as a variant. i e-mailed geb about it and heard nothing from him. and now my buddy who's into lotr as well gave me a call and told me that he found 2 others as well with the "red" torch and not the usual "orangish" flames sitting on the pegs.

i took my 3 uruks to his place today and took a picture for comparison, and indeed it seems to be a product modification. mine had a date stamp of 11605 and both of his had 15305. has anyone encountered these lately?

I've got two orange, though I just ordered a few from BBTS. The first two I got a while ago, though, so I'm assuming the ones I just ordered will be red. I'll let you know as soon as they arrive.

I also have one of each, and I had just assumed one of them had a bad paint job. I like the oranger looking torch better, which I think was the first version(the cases Suncoast got). The red torch one I have I got at TRU.

I don't think these are variants..... Just another Toybiz production painting enomoly

I just got a few from BBTS and they do have red painted plames as opposed to the orange ones I got a month or two ago. Looks like a running change too because they have different date stamps. So this would be a variant. Not something significant like a new head or new accessories, but a running change like the spear of the Fountain Guard (which changed from black to brown) and the scepter of Denethor (which changed from black with white tip to black with gold).

what are the date stamps on your packaging white ranger? are they the same as the ones i posted or close to it? can you post pics? tnx

well i'm pretty sure now it's a variant and a few people have confirmed it
