Helm's Deep Uruk-Hai Captain

[Mordor Uruk]

Here is my Custom Helm’s Deep Uruk-Hai Captain.

I used Ugluk (Head)
HD Battle cry Uruk-Hai (body parts)

HD Crossbow Uruk-Hai (Body parts)

I cut of the Armour of the BCU, then I cut of the Armour of the CU.
I used the body of the CU because I was more taller the arms however I used from the BCU,

it had better chain mail and better looking arms.
I then cut the breastplate of the CU and removed the upper portion of it, I clued the upper part of the breastplate from the BCU on it and I also clued the legs on the torso.
I checked the film on and on I even printed all the screenshots to make him as accurate as possible. I repainted him and put in some belt straps as seen in the movie, I gave him a Dirk in his left shin (Movie detail) and gave him a longer scimitar that is simply made to clue several scimitar together.
The head (Ugluk) I gave him a customized nose, Ugluk’s kind of flat.
And gave him hair that I repainted this comes from my Michael Myers Mask.
His head I also repainted, I clued it on the upper body.
Last but not least I gave him the hand print on the torso.
I very satisfied how it looks.

SO ugly! its beautiful. this uruk looks familiar with that hair! i think that is the way ugluk should look like. what strings did u use for the hair? i always wanted to paint the white hand...but always turn out crap. did u print it with some stamp or something?

No I did not used a stamp for the hand print. I did print out a copy of the filmscreen were his hand print can be seen, I then painted it on his breastplate.
And for your info I used the head from Ugluk, because he looks similar to the Helm's Deep Uruk cap. However this is not a Custom Ugluk version.

i dont quite get it. u stick the film screeen onto the figure n u painted over it?

that looks really cool!!! i love the paintjob on this Uruk! fantastic job on the White Hand. it looks very accurate. this is the Uruk who is on the rock and yells at Helm's Deep, right? it looks just like him. wonderful custom!

i think he means he just used the pic for referrence.

I painted it on the Torso, but I needed something how it looks, I paint not by my computer so I printed the screen.

That looks great, I love how the head looks, also the chainmail is also cool, how did you do that?

The chainmail I only painted it dark and then dry brushed it.

Wow! That is really cool . . . I really like the idea of combining the parts from different Uruks, because now he doesn't look exactly like any one! I also like the head, I always thought Ugluk had a good face but hated his hair. This one looks much better with the new Austin Powers (Mike Meyers, get it?) hair. Just glad it's not a feminine hygiene product this time! Good job on the nose, too . . .

The white hand is also much better than the one they usually put on the toybiz figs . . .

I never get bored of Uruk-Hais, they have a well, gruesome look to them, that never tires. Excellent paintjob, and all that working look like it paid off my friend. That hair looks creepy though, looks old and tatted, but I guess that just adds to the effect.

Thats right the old Ugluk's hair wasn't good inoff so I made it custom painted it and put a little gel in it.
