Disney Store Narnia figures - LOTR compatibility?

This was posted over at RTM's Toy Buzz with respect to some new Narnia figures (not the Hasbro line) now out at the Disney store:

"Rather good. Very similar in style and scale to the Toy Biz LOTR figures. Well articulated, good possibly scanned likenesses and clean paint ops.

$9.50 each. No beasties other than Aslan, the line includes:

Peter, Lucy, Aslan, White Witch (all available at my Disney Store) plus Susan and Edmund (not there yet.) All 6 seem to be available on ebay though.

The boys feature removable swords, Lucy a removable dagger, Aslan has quite a bit of articulation for a Lion and the Witch has a nice clean wand.

All in all MUCH better than the Hasbro figures, though the hasbro monsters might go well enough for hardcore fans."

Does anyone have any pictures of these, especially loose and in scale comparison with some representative Toy Biz LOTR figures? The customizers around here would be in luck if these will work as base figures. Please post some pictures if you have purchased these.

Thank you,
BAT

This is the first I have ever herd of these...I will do some reserch.

EDIT: found some on e-bay, these look sweet! far better than Hasbro, sucks now that every Disney store in Utah is closed. Any bigger pics would be nice.

Re: Disney Store Narnia figures - LOTR compatibility?

Hey guys, I just got home and was able to buy all but Peter today! He's the only one they didn't have.
I'll be sure and take pics of them loose and compared to other LOTR figs once I open them up. (probably have pics up by this evening)
Overall, they look great compared to Hasbro's and have pretty good likenesses. The price is a little high for Lucy when you get the Witch and Aslan for the same, but it's great to have some REAL figures from this fantastic movie.

Here's a preview pic of the White Witch carded.

I was going to take more, but the batteries are too low. Once they're charged, I'll get more carded pics up.

Re: Disney Store Narnia figures - LOTR compatibility?

That photos are great, thanks. I don't usually collect figures but I'm might get those seeing as there's less chance of it turning into a large line. Anyone know is they're available at all Disney store yet? I was at two seperate one a couple of days before the movie came out and there's barely a hint of Narnia in either stores. I was surprised since Disney usually try to push their movies in the stores especially around the holidays.
